It's over.
It's been a week from the last session.
I can said BUJIN officially wean off now.
Its a mixed feeling. I am proud of Khazin for being able to made it. When I was over in JB last week, last Thursday morning(23rd June) at 415am was the last moment. I spend my last 45 minutes letting him latch on non-existence milk supply since a yr ago. He just agreed when I said " That's it adik, this is your bottle. Mama is taking a shower, I am late to catch up my flight". I am sad coz I actually vow to try to wean off.
And when I am back at home on 24th June, he tried to latch, but I refused. Got him to sing his favourite Itsy Bitsy Spider and he forget about it. And it keep on going and it has been 7 days and it's over.He is officially wean off. Now, he proudly said ADIK tak minum susu mama dah. Dah takde susu pun. Adik minum dekat botol adik aja.
I am proud of you, Khazin Ezzan. It's an extended case and should happened long time ago, but every mother will understand how surreal to get ur kids very close to u in this case kan. Khilfi also wean off when I left him for Hajj at 2 yrs and 7 months old. Bujin is more extreme at 3 yrs and 3 months. :) No milk in the picture for Bujin case since long time ago, but in Khilfi case, I still have. I remember being so engorged in Madinah the first 3 days but Allah listen all the time.
Whatever it is, I will always miss the chance to breastfeed and I pray Allah will always give me the chance to breastfeed for my next child when the rezeki comes Insya Allah
