So, lets attempt this travelogue.
It is a kamikaze becoz (1) the kids for the first time were not following us (2) Hubs just got to know about it on Friday afternoon-confirmed green light to go, and I only agree after many persuasive that kids going to be ok at Saturday noon (3) Tix was bought at 4pm on Saturday and (5) flying off the next day with less than 24 hrs to prepare everything. (6) last minute plan, separate flight as hubs on business i am on economy and everything is haywire just to get me to be on the same route. KL-ABZ-LHR-KL . That's explain kamikaze.
Anyhow to say I didnt enjoyed it was a big fat liar. This is like my ultimate dream come true. For those who is close to me may know how crazy am i toward UK and London per se. My childhood memories even I do not remember anything revolving around UK and as my dad said I must made it this time or else it will be my biggest regret for this year.
So, we went on separate flight. Hub is flying using KLM, MAS is running out of business seat for this route whilst I took Emirates. My route will be KL to DXB(Dubai) to LHR (London) and only ABZ (Aberdeen).

| my booboo my soulmate TQ darling for making this happened to me... |
The whole flying solo experience was somehow new for me for this long haul flight. It is weird as I normally had the kids to juggle with and etc. This time, I am free to get myself lost in between in-flight entertainment, sleeping, walking the aisle even I baby sit one of the kids on board out of boredom. I cant get myself to sleep that much. I guess the excitement(of travelling) and the worry (of living the kids behind) were bugging me the whole journey. The flight only half full and i had the whole 4 seater row by myself.
I had almost 4 hours to kill when I reach DXB. I spent time observing its busy emirates terminal. Shopping is not in the dictionary (yet). :) ate some foods, read and ended up sleeping on one of the recliner chair. Just nice for that good transit time.

The leg of DXB to LHR was somehow busy. The flight was FULL. sakit kepala akak. Thank god for the extensive Emirates inflight entertainment. and after close to 7 hrs, its finally LONDON. Jakun siot sampai London. hahahahahahaha...mmg jakun abis. Yeah org kampung sampai London after leaving it like 29 yrs ago, mmg jakun abis. Macam nak lompat bintang. hahahahah..But my journey still not completed. I landed on Terminal 3 and my connecting domestic flight was at Terminal 5. I am taking British Airways. The reason for BA is I wanna stick to Heathrow and not Gatwick or Stansead airport. So kena pay extra sikit but out of convenience this may be my best choice

Switching between terminals in Heathrow is a peace of mind. There's a free train running in between terminals. I was this close of going to the city with that 3 hours to spend. hehehehe express train from the airport took 15 mins but it will be too crazy for that thought so I went to Terminal 5 straight away. It s the newest terminal and brand new in lieu of the London Olympic 2012. It has big Harrods inside and super duper large duty shops. Tell ya 3 hours pass like a breeze. I managed to get myself online. Managed to search for halal eateries in Aberdeen, highlight of what to do in my 3 days stay there and etc.

Well, enuff rambling. I am supposed to write about the travelogue. hahahahahah merepek pulak.
When its time to board the flight I am already itching all over the body. This whole travelling and transit should end soon. BA flight was super comfy. and after 1.5hrs I finally landed to my final leg of my outbound flight. Aberdeen, Scotland. My first visit to this Oil&Gas town and the City of Granite. It was a lovely town.Very old and chic the way how i imagine it to be.

Hubs already waiting at the hotel. We stayed in Hilton Treetops. I just had a quick shower and grab a quick instant noodles. Aberdeen is super cold. 3-4degree. And I do not have any winter clothing so the agenda of the day is clothing and just to get to know the city. So we hop on the taxi to town and walk on our foot to the famous Union Row St.
Its raining and very cold. I am not so good in this cold cold weather. But it is not stopping us to explore further. We saw the halal tandoori eateries but its closed for the day so we settle for some Italian eateries place. nice pizza and pasta. BIla perut dah kenyang panjang langkah nak tgk kedai. :) Had dinner in Union Sq, luckily it opens till 8pm. Got myself some milk and bread and few more stuffs. mode jakun in M&S Food Hall, very big very nice. Trying every single jacket and everything.
So we were in town from 3 till all the shops and most of the road being explore. took the cab back to the hotel around 9pm+ and settle for the night.
